Why I do not believe in UFO's even if I have seen hundreds--an Easter message (for real).

When I was in visiting my aunt from my medical school dorm and still in my white uniform, I was asked by my grandma and my aunt to go out of the house and see something in the sky.

The neighbors in our street and subdivision--at least three families--the one next to each side of us aside from ours and some other kids were gasping in wonder and bewilderment which I would find myself instantly.

In the clear blue Philippine summer sky is a huge near-round airship or craft unlike anything in that 1990's had produced or that I have seen in pictures or movies. It was green gray and simply on the air, like a still balloon but covering the view of the horizon as the above yellow sign is doing (20% obscured). But that is not all, more ovoid smaller ships are already in the air. The smaller craft, also green-gray, about the side of the UFO in the picture above in contrast to the size of the sign, filled the sky to the left into various depths and distances, but they were also simply steady and not moving. For about ten minutes of them there with me wondering where is my camera (and couldn't locate it) and also wondering where the television crews are and why is this not on tv, and going back to the house to desperately find a way to take a picture of this certain unusual UFO entities in the hundreds, I was called out again by my aunt. They are beginning to move. Naturally everyone was speaking and speculating, just shaking our heads at what we saw. It seems were the only clustered group in the immediate streets as far as we can see--a family of music teachers (the Martinezes, our family of bankers and midwives (the Macaraig-Salazars) and the other neighbor who I already forgot their name and background as it was not my usual environment, but were employed and respectable, married and with kids. But this movement beat our expectations again. The mothership stated moving slowly towards the right (south) and the smaller craft started moving also. It was endless. They could have numbered thousands. They were legion and were emerging from what is in the more northern side of the sky and when the last finally approached the horizon on the southern side it seems there was a sensation of to of a zip or a speeding then they were all gone.

Did you see that? we would ask each other confirming if our eyes were not tricking us. Twenty years later when my then teen-brother was already a successful businessman and my pre-school cousin was already a graphic designer, I would ask them if they can remember what they saw and if for posterity could they please draw it. They drew ships certainly and were convinced they were UFOs, but neither had the experience of seeing or remembering their very many number. One or a few is their answer.

Fast forward a few more years, I was reading the Baltimore Catechism and confirmed by St. Thomas Aquinas's Summa that there are three types of beings: God, man and angels. The known history of the world cannot be complete without acknowledging God as the immutable source of all and He created angels given with no bodies but with eternal souls with a will and supernatural intelligence (can see the past and future). But the head angel Lucifer from pride decided to disobey God and didn't care that he will be forever the tormented tormentor and even had one-third of the angels follow his folly, the Archangel Michael, a smaller angel but with great zeal, leading the charge to banish them. Lucifer who then realized that with man's creation, these body-mind (but no supernatural intelligence like theirs) units, these persons will someday inherit and behold the heavenly perfection which they had forever been exiled from. And thus proceeded to tempt the woman who knows what the proper decision is (i.e., not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil) but had no willpower to carry it through. Giving the fruit to her husband who didn't counsel her appropriately, humankind then fell into the clutches of satan from the same pride. Humans should be giving their whole life to Jesus in simple gratitude for rescuing them from certain hellfire with its eternal and extreme tortures. Jesus's offering which Lent and the Easter season magnifies opened heaven for us once more.

This now gave an easy dichotomy to my youthful UFO experience. If this is not God, nor it is man, then it could be an angel or a form of them, but which kind. I reference this quote I published recently in a forum.

Demons/ bad angels/ Satan are what are responsible for freaks in history that are hard to classify or pin down. Yet the evil spirit that have been present in serpentine creatures/monsters/ dragons across time and space is easily able to take the form of other things like Big Foot, UFOS and aliens. Our whole street saw a sky of filled with green-gray huge UFO's in the late 90's in the Philippines. I was a medical student then and a practicing doctor now. I thought it was some sort of mass delusion yet we did all see it and we were not "high"--the age range was 5 (my cousin) to 70 (my grandma). I thought it was just UFOS, but it was actually darker, having realized the simple classifcation above. It makes sense because they were coming from the direction of Villamor Airbase which is where former President Marcos kept his martial law henchmen and evidence from assassination (the van which Ninoy Aquino was put in as is the fall guy/ pseudoassasin Galman. And our observation of this hundreds of ovoid craft led by a massive mother craft who started moving away from the airbase direction happened when Aquino's widow was elected our new President.
